ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The habeas corpus petition has been instituted to direct the respondents to produce the body of the petitioner's daughter namely A.Mercy, aged 19 years, D/o. Anthonydoss.
The respondent/Police undertook investigation and identified the detenue. The detenue appeared before the Inspector of Police, Rural Police Station, Tiruchengode, Namakkal District and stated that she is a major and got married with one Mr.Logesh and living separately. The petitioner herself in her sworn affidavit filed in support of this petition stated that her daughter fell in love with Mr.Logesh S/o. Mani. 3.
Thus, the petitioner herself was aware about the affair between her daughter and Mr.Logesh. Now, the detenue herself along with her husband have given a statement that herself and Logesh got married and living separately.

That being the factum and further the detenue as well as her husband are major, the present habeas corpus petition deserves no merit adjudication and consequently stands dismissed. [S.M.S., J.] [V.S.G., J.] 10.09.2024 Index :
