PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the 2nd respondent not to harass the petitioner.

ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent not to harass the petitioner.

2.The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner married one K.Jeganathan on 06.11.2021, which is not like by the third respondent, who is the mother of the petitioner. Despite the third respondent was well aware about the marriage and the petitioner is living in Madurai, the defacto complainant/third respondent lodged a complaint thereby the petitioner is being harassed. Hence, the above petition.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first and second respondents submits that the third respondent, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

who is the mother of the petitioner, lodged a complaint stating that her daughter is missing and whereabouts of the petitioner is not known and on receipt of the complaint, CSR.No.762 of 2021 assigned on 07.11.2021.

4.The counsel for the petitioner, on instruction, submits that the petitioner shall appear before the second respondent police on any given date.

5.In view of the same, the petitioner is directed to appear before the second respondent police on 23.01.2022 along with the proof of marriage and provide the details of her residence and also confirm her well being. Thereafter, the second respondent police, after enquiring and verifying the same, is directed to close the CSR.

6.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
