This petition is filed to condone the delay of 165 days in representing the above revision.
2.The learned counsel for petitioner submitted that it is only a delay in representing the papers, hence, the same may be condoned. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the respondent strongly objected for the same stating that petitioner was convicted by the trial Court for offence under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act and sentenced to undergo one year simple imprisonment and to pay the cheque amount of Rs.14,00,000/- as compensation. Aggrieved against the same, the petitioner preferred an appeal before the learned I Additional District and Sessions Judge, Salem. The Lower Appellate Court also confirmed the same. The petitioner except depositing 20% of the cheque amount at the time of filing an appeal, so far not paid any amount.

rsi 4.The learned counsel for petitioner submitted that at the time of admission the petitioner would show his bonafide by making deposit of 30% of the cheque amount.
5.In view of the same, the delay stands condoned and the petition is ordered.
