This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to provide necessary police protection to the petitioner for restoring the electricity connection in respect of his shop premises situated at No.3, Ground Floor, KMS Complex, Welders Street, Mount Road, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Chennai-2 in the name of SMAS Net World, against the 3rd and 4th respondents, based on his representation dated 17.09.2019.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Karthikeyan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, appearing for the respondent police 1 and 2.

3. Today, when the petition is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that already in respect to the service connection mentioned by the petitioner, the same was restored and therefore, the prayer sought in the petition becomes infructuous.

4. Recording the same, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
