The Writ Petition is listed today under the caption, "For Withdrawal". The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner wants to withdraw this petition inasmuch as, he wants to avail the alternative statutory remedy available against the punishment imposed before the competent Forum and also made an endorsement to that effect.
2. In such view of this matter, this Court permits the petitioner to withdraw this writ petition with a liberty to file an appeal within a period of two weeks before the appellate authority and if such an appeal is filed, the appellate authority shall entertain and dispose of the same notwithstanding the expiry of the period of limitation, on its own merit and in accordance with law. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
