Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of mandamus to direct the respondent to consider the representation dated 22.11.2016 to transfer the name and issue patta in petitioner's favour with regard to the land situated in Survey No.269/5, Veliyambakkam, Village, Vandavasi Taluk, Tiruvannamalai Distric, to an extent of 6 cents. ORDER

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondent to pass orders on his pending representation dated 22.11.2016 requesting to issue patta in his name with regard to the land situated at Survey No.269/5, Veliyambakkam, Village, Vandavasi Taluk, Tiruvannamalai Distric, having an extent of 6 cents.

2. The petitioner, claiming to be the owner of the above said land, has made a representation dated 22.11.2016 to the respondent requesting to issue patta in his name, but, the said representation till date has not been considered by the respondent.

3. Mrs.P.Rajalakshmi, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted that if a direction is given, pending representation dated 22.11.2016 of the petitioner would considered on merits withing a period of four weeks. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Recording the above said submission, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to consider and pass orders on the pending representation dated 22.11.2016 of the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No Costs.
