ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to register FIR based on the petitioner's complaint dated 25.8.2014 within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that based on the complaint dated 25.8.2014 given by the petitioner, a detailed enquiry vide DVAC memorandum in DE 52/2015/SECTT/CC-1 dated 11.5.2015 was ordered and the same is under investigation. He has also filed a status report to that effect.

3. Since already a case has been registered on the complaint given by the petitioner, I am of the opinion, nothing survives in this petition. Hence, recording the said statement made in the status report, the criminal original petition is closed.
