The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 03.06.2025 for the alleged offence under Section 61(2), 318(4) and 340(2) of BNS, 2023 r/w Section 66(D) of the Information Technology (Amendment) Act, 2008 in Cr.No.108 of 2024 pending on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.
2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, it is represented by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that the petitioner herein was released on statutory bail. Hence, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous and nothing survives for further adjudication and and has also made an endorsement to that effect.
3. In view of the submission and the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
