Prayer Writ Petition filed under Section 226 of the Constitution of India, prayed for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to issue Marks Certificates with regard to the petitioner student's Register No.2214596 for the 10th Standard Board Examination held in April, 2014 and Register No.3052665 for the 10th Standard Board Examination held in June, 2014 "exempted" in So far as Tamil Language and "pass" to all other subjects in which the petitioner student has secured pass mark; and direct the respondents to pay monetary compensation of Rs.10 lakhs.
