The ground mainly raised in the present writ petition is that the authority, who has passed the original order of promotion became the District Revenue Officer and therefore, he cannot decide the issues raised between the parties. However, the learned Government Advocate now brought to the notice of this Court that the said DRO was retired and therefore, there is no impediment for the present DRO to decide the issues. Accordingly, the 2nd respondent is directed to dispose of the revision petition filed by the writ petitioner on 14.06.2011 as expeditiously as possible.
Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs. 04.07.2023 kak/skr Index : Yes 2/4
