ORDER

(The Order of the Court was made by P.Velmurugan, J) The petitioner has filed the present petition seeking to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order bearing No.1273/Thi.Vea.Ci/2025, dated 21.07.2025 passed by the second respondent and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to grant emergency leave for 6 days without escort to the detenu Jaganathan, S/o Shanmugam, aged about 32 years, convict prisoner, bearing Convict No.1273 and PID.No.67066, confined at Open Prison, Ondiputhur, Coimbatore.

2. In paragraph 3 of the impugned order, it is stated that since the medical records have not been furnished, and on production of medical records, they will consider the representation of the detenu and therefore, the petitioner is at liberty to file medical records before the Prison Authority and on such production of the medical records, the Prison Authority is directed to consider the same and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law.
