(This case has been heard through video conferencing) The petitioner who is an accused in C.C.No.44 of 2017 had filed this petition seeking for quash the First Information Report.

2. The learned Additonal Public Prosecutor would submit that the case in C.C.No.44 of 2017 is pending before the Fast Track Nourt No.IV, George Town, Chennai was disposed on 15.04.2019 and it ended in acquittal.

3. Recording the same, nothing survives in this petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
