PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the first respondent to transfer the investigation of the case in Crime No.22 of 2012 to some other investigating agency such as CBI or CBCID or any other independent investigating agency for proper and necessary action against the culprits.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking for transfer of investigation in Crime No.22 of 2012 pending on the file of the 1st respondent.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the investigation has been completed and final report dated 20.06.2019 has been filed before the Special Court for Land Grabbing, Namkkal.

In view of the above, the relief as claimed by the petitioner cannot be granted by this Court. The respondent police is directed to get the final report from the Special Court for Land Grabbing , Namakkal and file the same before the learned Judicial Magistrate I, Namakkal. This process shall be https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

completed with a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Namakkal is further directed to take cognizance of the final report and proceed further in accordance with law and complete the proceedings as expeditiously as possible. 4.

This Criminal Original petition is disposed of accordingly.
