ORDER
The petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking direction to the second respondent to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the petitioner has given representation, the respondent police has not enquired the matter and given police protection. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the petition for the above stated relief.

3.At this juncture, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that on receipt of the representation, it was taken as C.S.R.No.103 of 2016 and enquiry is going on to decide whether there is really any threat.
4.Considering the submissions made on either side, the second respondent police is directed to enquire the matter as expeditiously as possible and dispose of the representation given by the petitioner, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
