The petitioner was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 06.02.2016 for the alleged offence punishable under section 397 IPC, in Crime No. 52 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police and hence, seeks bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the accused committed robbery at knife point and taken away a sum of Rs.600/- and cellphone from the defacto complainant.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has been in judicial custody for more than 81 days and he is the only breadwinner of the family.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondent vehemently opposed the bail petition contending that the petitioner is having three previous cases and the first accused has been
detained under Act 14 of 1982.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner with certain conditions.
6. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on his executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties; out of which one surety must be blood relative; each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Tiruvarur, and on further condition that the petitioner shall report before the respondent police daily thrice at 10.00 a.m., 01.00 p.m., and 5.00 p.m., until further orders.
