This original petition has been filed taking advantage of Section 372 of the Indian Succession Act, 1925 seeking Succession Certificate with respect to the securities in the name of K.Venkataraman, the husband of the 1st petitioner and the father of 2nd and 3rd petitioners, who died intestate on 06.06.2020. The 2nd petitioner is studying at Sweden and therefore, had given the Power of Attorney to the 1st petitioner to represent in this proceedings. 2.After following due procedure, the petitioners were invited to tender evidence. Accordingly, the 1st petitioner, Malathi Venkataraman, examined herself as PW-1. The Death Certificate and Legal Heirship Certificate of K.Venkataraman were marked as Exs.P1 and P2. The Statement of Accounts of K.Venkataraman was marked as Ex.P3. The photocopy of the General Power of Attorney given by the 2nd petitioner was marked as Ex.P4. 3.In view of the evidence adduced, this Original Petition stands allowed. The Succession Certificate may be issued in favour of all the three petitioners.
