The petitioners, who are arrayed as accused, apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 498(A) of IPC and Sections 4 and 5 of Dowry Prohibition Act, in Crime No.158 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police and hence, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the marriage between the petitioner and the defacto complainant took place on 11.01.2016 and thereafter some matrimonial dispute arose between them, the petitioners joint together harassed the defacto complainant demanding additional dowry. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the second petitioner and the defacto complainant appeared before the Mediation Centre on 13.04.2016 and they filed a joint memo of compromise dated 13.04.2016 and now they are living together.

5. Heard the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondent.

6. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the fact that the first petitioner and the defacto complainant were now living together, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners with certain conditions.

Accordingly, the petitioners are ordered to be released on bail in the event of their arrest or on their appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Ponneri, and on each of them executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and the second petitioner shall appear before the respondent police daily at 10.00 a.m., for a period of two weeks and thereafter as and when required for interrogation and the petitioners 1 and 3 shall appear before the respondent police as and when required for interrogation. The petitioners shall comply with the condition stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. scrupulously.

8. The petitioners shall appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail stands dismissed. rrg 2 6. 0 4. 2 0 1 6 Crl.O.P.No. 7 8 2 7 of 2 0 1 6
