ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to directing the respondent to conduct an award enquiry towards loss of business and to pass award by determining compensation to the petitioner in accordance with the Section 28 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act 2013 by considering the petitioner's representations dated 24.09.2020, 16.07.2021 and 08.07.2024 sent to the respondent.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has made several representations to conduct an award enquiry towards loss of business and to pass award by determining compensation to the petitioner. However the said representations were not considered by the respondent till date. Hence, this petition has been filed by the petitioner.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondent and also perused the materials available on record.

4. In view of the above, this Court directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.07.2024 on its own merits and dispose of the same in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
