On the complaint given by one Sheik Dawood against the petitioner's son, the petitioners are called for enquiry on 30.08.2024. 1/4

Alleging that the petitioners have no business relationship with the defacto complainant and therefore, they are unnecessarily harassed by the police.

Further, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the summons for enquiry to appear on 30.08.2024 was received by the petitioners only on 31.08.2024. 3.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submits that the complaint by Sheik Dawood is pending against one Tony Pravinkumar who is the son of the 1st petitioner. Therefore, to enquire about that the complaint whereabouts of the said Tony, the petitioners were called, but they did not appear. If they had not received the summons before the date of hearing, the police is ready to issue fresh summons for enquiry.

Recording the statement of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of directing the respondent police to cause summons to the petitioners well in advance for them to participate in the enquiry. On such receipt of 2/4
