Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records of the impugned order dated 13.09.2019 passed by the respondent in his proceedings e.f.v©.137/J.fh.f.bg.c.nf/19, quash the same and direct the respondent to consider the representation dated 08.09.2019 of the petitioner by granting permission to hold public meeting on 25.09.2019 or any other day at Periyanaickenpalaym, Arignar Anna Thidal (Near) Periyanaickenpalaym Bus stand, Coimbatore District and to provide necessary protection and bundobast required for the meeting.

The present writ petition is filed to quash the impugned order of the respondent herein dated 13.09.2019 and to direct the respondent to grant permission to hold public meeting on 25.09.2019 or any other day at Periyanaickenpalaym, Arignar Anna Thidal (Near) Periyanaickenpalaym Bus stand, Coimbatore District
2. By consent of both the counsels, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

3. When the petitioner has sought for permission to conduct the meeting touching upon the birth celebration of Aringar Anna, the same came to be rejected on 13.09.2019, stating that the place sought for conducting the meeting is not feasible, since it would cause inconvenience to the general public.
4. Today, when the matter was called, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent, on instructions, submitted that if the petitioner seeks for permission to conduct the meeting at Kavundampalayam, such a permission can be considered.
5. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the petitioner herein is directed to approach the respondent herein with an application seeking for permission to conduct the meeting at Kavundampalayam in Coimbatore District. On receipt of such an application, the respondent herein shall consider the same, favourably on the same day, without reference to the earlier order of rejection dated 13.09.2019.
6. With the above observations, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
