These civil miscellaneous petitions have been filed by the petitioners to condone the delay of 418 days in filing the above writ appeals.

Heard Mr.M.Venkateswaran, learned Special Government Pleader for the petitioners. Despite service of notice on the respondent and the name having been printed in the cause-list, there is no representation on behalf of the respondent.

Satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavits filed in support of the miscellaneous petitions, the delay of 418 days in filing the appeals is condoned.

The civil miscellaneous petitions are ordered accordingly.

The Registry is directed to number the appeals, if the same are otherwise found to be in order.
