Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the records relating to the proceedings of the 2nd respondent dated 04.08.2019, vide Cr.M.P.No.18/2019 against the detenu Poovarasan, son of Jothivel, aged about 20 years, and quash the same consequently direct the respondents herein to produce the detenu, who has been now detained under Act 14 of 1982 in Central Prison, Tiruchirapalli before this Court and set him at liberty.

O R D E R

[Order of this Court was made by R.SUBBIAH,J.] Petitioner is the paternal aunt of the detenu, namely, Poovarasan, S/o.Jothivel, who has been branded as "Goonda" under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 and detained under orders of the second respondent passed in Cr.M.P.No.18/2019 dated 04.08.2019. Such order is under challenge herein.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor, would submit that the detention order passed by the second respondent as against the detenu, Poovarasan dated 04.08.2019 has been revoked by the Government in G.O.Rt.No.3617, dated 23.09.2019 and he has also produced a copy of the said order.

3. In view of the above, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed, as it has become infructuous.
