This application is filed seeking extension of time to conclude pending arbitral proceedings between the applicant and the respondent.

2. The applicant submits that the cross-examination of respondent's witness was concluded recently, and that the next stage is oral arguments. However, since the time limit for completion of arbitral proceedings ends on 03.01.2022, the present application is filed.

3. The minutes of the arbitral proceedings on 16.12.2021 indicates that both parties filed a joint memo on 13.12.2021, whereby it was agreed that an extension of time would be sought from this Court. Therefore, notice to the respondent is dispensed with.

4. Keeping in mind the current stage of the arbitral proceedings, this application is allowed by extending the time for conclusion of the arbitral proceedings by pronouncing award in respect thereof by a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
