As such, it would not be appropriate to keep the contempt petition till the Writ Appeal is disposed of. Hence, the contempt petitions stand closed. In case the petitioner is of the view if and after the Writ Appeal has been rejected, the willful disobedience still continues, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh contempt petition. Consequently connected sub application is closed.
