ORDER

This Criminal Original petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.09.2022 and consequently remove the petitioner's name Manikandan @ Thangaman from the history sheet in HS/585/2017/ CDMPS maintained by the second respondent.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was falsely implicated in the criminal cases and the respondent police opened a History sheet against the petitioner. Hence he made a representation dated 23.09.2022 to the first respondent to remove his name from the History sheet, but it was not considered. Hence this petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that the representation of the petitioner

dated 23.09.2022 is available with the first respondent and the authorities concerned will consider the same and pass orders on its own merits and in accordance with law.

4. Recording the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 23.09.2022 and to pass orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. No costs.
