This petition is filed for quashing the proceedings in C.C.No.99 of 2014 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Neyveli, for the offences punishable under Sections 498A, 294(b), 323, 506(i) IPC and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act read with Section 109 IPC.
2.Today, the first petitioner, the second respondent and their respective counsel are present. They have filed a joint compromise memo stating that the second respondent/wife and the first petitioner/husband have now joined together and hence the second respondent has no objection to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.99 of 2014.

3.Recording the joint compromise memo filed by the first petitioner as well as the second respondent, the Criminal Original Petition stands allowed and the proceedings in C.C.No.99 of 2014 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Neyveli, is hereby quashed.
