O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents 2 to 3 to consider the application of the petitioner dated 10.03.2023, for grant of layout approval in respect of the property comprised in Re Survey No.182/3 situated at Mettupudur Village, Perundurai Taluk, Erode District within the time fixed by this Court.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he submitted an application for layout approval in respect of the above said land on 10.03.2023 and the same has not been considered by the 2nd respondent. 3.Mrs.S.Anitha, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents on instructions, submit that the application of the petitioner will be considered on merits and in accordance with law in due course. 2/4

4.In view of the stand taken by the learned Special Government Pleader, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, is inclined to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 10.03.2023, for layout approval and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
