Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a Writ of Mandamus forbearing the respondents herein from erecting the Sewage Treatment Plant in the area earmarked as Park in the layout approved by the 3rd respondent vide Ma.va./ma(se) No.61/2007 at Pariyur Nanjappagoundanpalayam village, Gobichettipalayam Taluk, Erode District by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 21.09.2022. ORDER

(Order of the Court is made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.V.Anandhamurthy, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.K.Karthik Jegannath, learned Government Advocate for the respondent Nos.1 to 4.

2. The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that in an area earmarked for Park, the Sewage Treatment Plant is sought to be constructed.

3. The learned Government Advocate for the respondent Nos.1 to 4, on instructions, submits that the respondents are not going to convert the 2/5

Park. The Sewage Treatment Plant would not be constructed in the subject writ site and only a soak pit is going to be made.

4. In view of the aforesaid statement, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, W.M.P.No.27341 of 2022 is closed.
