O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to register a complaint dated 05.09.2014 given by the petitioner within the stipulated period as fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner has lodged a complaint as against one Settu @ Kumaravel on the allegation that the petitioner has borrowed a sum of Rs.1,48,000/- from him and also paid the interest regularly. While so, on 11.11.2015, the said Settu, threatened the petitioner and got the property of the petitioner registered in his name stating that the petitioner has not paid the interest amount regularly. Further, he took the TATA ACE, four wheeler vehicle of the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner has lodged a complaint with the respondent police. far on the said complaint, the present petition has been filed.

3. When the matter is taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on completion of enquiry, the complaint given by the petitioner was closed. He has also produced the closure report for perusal of this Court.

4. Since the complaint given by the petitioner has been closed, nothing survives in this petition. Hence, the criminal original petition stands dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
