The above Petition is filed to withdraw and transfer HMOP.No.189 of 2014 pending on the file of Sub Court, Poonamallee to the Family Court at Vellore.

2. Reasons for seeking the transfer are as follows:- 1/4

(i) The petitioner, who has been subjected to cruelty and deserted by the respondent along with her daughter, is not being maintained by the respondent.

(ii) The petitioner, along with her school-going daughter, is residing at Katpadi, Vellore District and is under the care and maintenance of her aged parents.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Respondent though served has not entered appearance either in person or through counsel.

4. Considering the reasons set out by the petitioner for transfer and also taking into account the fact that she is residing at Katpadi Vellore District within the jurisdiction of the Family Court at Vellore, the Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed and HMOP.No.189 of 2014 pending on the file of the Sub Court, Poonamallee District is withdrawn and transferred to the file of the Family Court, Vellore.
