ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Acting Chief Justice) Mr.E.Shankar, son of Ethiraj, a resident of No.99/48, Gangai Amman Koil Street, Vadapalani, Chennai, has filed this writ petition for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing respondents 1 to 3 not to issue no objection certificate to the fourth respondent and consequently forbear the fourth respondent from running a cracker shop in D.No.30/1, Thiru Nagar Main Road, 100 Feet Road,

Vadapalani, Chennai-26.

2. When the writ petition is taken up for hearing, learned State Government Pleader appearing for the third respondent submitted that the request for issuance of no objection certificate made by the fourth respondent has been refused. He has also placed on record the communication dated 18.10.2022 addressed by the third respondent to the petitioner in this regard.

3. Recording the submission made by learned State Government Pleader and the communication dated 18.10.2022 addressed by the third respondent to the petitioner, the prayer in the writ petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. There will be no order as to costs. Consequently, W.M.P.No.27328 of 2022 is closed. (T.R., ACJ.) (D.K.K., J.) 20.10.2022 Index : Yes/No bbr
