Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents to measure the properties and fix the boundaries of survey numbers as per the respective sale deed (1).Document No.4411 of 2013, Survey number.74/8 measuring extent of 65 cents and (2). Document No.1350 of 2014, Survey No.73/1 measuring an extend 52 cents, both situated at No.89, Amintanallur Village, Uthukottai Taluk, Tiruvallur District, falling with in the registration jurisdiction of Arani sub-Registrar, Registration District Chennai South.

ORDER

By consent of both the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2. The present writ petition is filed praying to issue a writ of mandamus, to direct the respondents to survey and fix boundaries in the subject properties comprised in Survey No.74/8 measuring an extent of 65 cents and Survey No.73/1 measuring an extent of 52 cents situated at No.89, Aminthanallur Village, Uthukottai Taluk, Tiruvallur District.

3. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the survey of the subject property was infact completed on 13.08.2025, however a survey report is yet to be furnished by the respondents.

4. In reply, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 & 2 submitted that they would furnish the survey report within a time frame to be fixed by this Court which was agreed to by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

5. In view thereof, there shall be a direction to the respondents 1 & 2 to furnish a copy of survey report to the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of uploading of the web copy without waiting for the receipt of certified copy.
