PRAYER This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 528 of BNSS to direct the 2nd respondent to immediately club the Crime No.111/2024 along with Crime No. 4 of 2024 and Crime No.278 of 2032 for further investigation as per the order of this Honble Court in Crl.O.P.No.30842/2024, dated 10.12.2024 and further to conduct a detailed enquiry by summoning all the victims before proceeding to final report.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to club the FIR registered in Crime No.111 of 2024 along with Crime Nos.4 of 2024, 278 of 2023, which are pending on the file of the Economic Offences Wing, Head Quarters, Chennai.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had lodged a complaint against the accused in respect of Online Trading, which resulted in cheating.

3. It is further submitted that the accused has cheated not only the petitioner, but also several other persons. In this regard, cases have been registered, and the connected FIRs are pending before the Economic Offences Wing.

4. In such view of the matter, this Court directs that the complaint filed by the petitioner in Crime No.111 of 2024 shall also be taken note of by the EOW while filing the final report, along with other FIRs. The FIR in Crime No.111 of 2024 may also be clubbed together with the connected pending matters, or in the alternative, the petitioner may be arrayed as one of the witnesses in the said cases.
