ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to modify the condition imposed in Crl.M.P.No.7205 of 2025, dated 09.07.2025.

2. Upon hearing the learned Counsel for the petitioner as the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent, it can be seen that while ordering interim custody of the Car being Fort Figo, bearing Registration No.TN42P 2774 to the custody of the petitioner, the Trial Court has imposed a condition directing the petitioner to execute a bond for Rs.8,00,000/- along with one surety for the like sum.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent would submit that the value of the Car is about Rs.5,00,000/-. The learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner purchased the Car in the year 2015 and now, it is 10 years old. 3/7

4. Considering the overall facts and circumstances of the case and the fact that the petitioner is the wife of the accused, the condition imposed cannot be found fault with. However, the quantum can be considered by this Court by taking into account the fact that the purchase of the Car was in the year 2015 and now, we are in the year 2025.

5. In view thereof, the condition imposed in paragraph No.5(a) of the impugned order, dated 09.07.2025 in Crl.M.P.No.7205 of 2025 on the file of the Trial Judge shall stand modified as follows:- "The petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.3,00,000/- along with one surety for likesum".

6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. 08.08.2025 : no grs 4/7
