The petitioner has filed this petition seeking a direction to the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Egmore, to take up the final report filed by the respondent police in Crime No. 28 of 2018 and deal with the same in accordance with law. 1/3

2. When the matter came up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that the final report has already been taken on file as C.C. No. 3140 of 2024 and summons have been issued to the accused persons.
