Considering the limited nature of prayer sought for in this writ petition, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the time of admission, without expressing any opinion on merits of the case by dispensing with the requirement of filing of counter affidavit by directing the respondent to accept the petitioner's appeal in CIT(A), Chennai-8/10260/2019-2020 dated 27.10.2016 and dispose the same on merits as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
