(Order of the Court was made by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.) The petitioner seeks a Writ of Mandamus, directing the State Level Scrutiny Committee to dispose of his appeal by issuing a Schedule Tribe "Kurumans" community certificate.

2.The petitioner has secured a seat in B.E.(Mechanical Engineering) in National Institute of Technology, Trichy under the Schedule Tribe (ST) Quota. The appeal filed by the petitioner, challenging the rejection of his claim that he belongs to "Kurumans", a Scheduled Tribe community is pending before the State Level Scrutiny Comittee. 2/4

3.The petitioner would rely upon the certificate issued to his father, Vijayaraghavan by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Harur. The National Institute of Technology, Trichy has admitted the student subject to production of the community certificate.

4.Mr.K.Srinivasa Murthy, learned counsel appearing for the National Institute of Technology, Trichy would submit that it will be in interest of the student also that he produces the certificate at the earliest. 5.Considering the above, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the State Level Scrutiny Committee to dispose of the appeal on or before 30.04.2023. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
