This petition has been filed to grant leave to the petitioners to prefer this appeal, as against the order passed by this court in W.P.No.20180 of 2007, dated 18.06.2007.

According to the petitioners, they are third party to the said writ petition and legal heirs of M.N.Sugumaran, who filed the said writ petitioner. It is contended by the petitioners that after passing orders in the writ petition, their father M.N.Sugumaran died and hence, leave may be granted to file the appeal on behalf of their deceased father.

Already, CMP No.20849 of 2024 seeking to accept the cause title filed by the petitioners was allowed by this court on 04.11.2024 and the petitioners were impleaded as appellants in the writ appeal. In such circumstances, it is not necessary to file another application to grant leave to them to file the appeal.

At this juncture, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that with an abandon caution, this petition has been filed. Since the petitioners were already impleaded as appellants in the writ appeal, no further order is required to be passed in this petition. Accordingly, this petition is closed.
