ORDER
The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to settle death benefits, settlement of final dues and any other benefits regarding compassionate ground seeking employment to the petitioner or any other benefit in respect of the petitioner's deceased father U.Venkatachalapathy, based on his representation dated 03.09.2016.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in spite of the petitioner's representation dated 03.09.2016, the respondent has not considered the same and passed orders so far.

3. Mr.P.V.Selvakumar, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representations and pass orders, in accordance with law.
4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and also taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.09.2016, and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
