This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a certiorari mandamus calling for the records pertaining to the Order No.Na.Ka.No.59/V.Kaa/Kalla/2022 dated 15.10.2022 issued by the third respondent and quash the same as illegal and direct the respondents to permit the petitioner to conduct the Street Corner Meeting near Ambedkar Statue, Katchery Road, Kallakurichi.

It is seen from the representation of the petitioner dated 05.10.2022 that he proposed to conduct Street Corner Meeting on 15.10.2022 between 6.30p.m. to 9.00p.m. and the same was considered by the third respondent police and permission was rejected by stating that the place chosen by the petitioner to conduct the meeting is a thickly populated place and it cause disturbance to traffic.

Now the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that if the venue chosen by the petitioner is not suitable, they are amenable to any other place chosen by the third respondent police himself in any other day.

In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, it is appropriate that if the petitioner files a fresh representation by stating the said facts, it will be convenient for the third respondent police to reconsider the same and pass appropriate orders. 5.
With these observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of, with a liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh representation by changing the venue and date or choosing the venue as instructed by the third respondent police. On such representation being filed, the third respondent police shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders.
