O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent-Police to register a case based on the complaint dated 30.01.2016, given by the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents.

3. On a reading of the complaint dated 30.01.2016, given by the petitioner, it is seen that there are several suits pending between the petitioner and the opposite parties for a very long time. It is alleged by the petitioner that on 26.01.2016, when the petitioner was planting trees, he was threatened by the opposite parties.

4. The complaint does not disclose any serious offence for registering an FIR. Hence, no positive directions can be given to the first respondent-Police to register the complaint https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

dated 30.01.2016. If there is any threat of violence from the opposite parties, it is open to the petitioner to go in person and lodge a fresh complaint to the jurisdictional police station.

5. In view of the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
