ORDER

Seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to register the complaint dated 26.02.2016 on the file of the 2nd respondent, investigate into the matter and to protect the petitioner and her family members, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

2.On an earlier complaint given by C.Sakunthala, the respondents have registered a case in Crime No.572 of 2015 on 26.08.2015 for offences under Sections 324 IPC and Section 4 of the Woman Harassment Act against one Perumal. Thereafter, it is alleged by the petitioner that the said Perumal is continuously threatening the petitioner and that on 24.02.2016, the said Perumal and his family members once again came to the land of the petitioner and threatened her. In this regard, the petitioner has given the 2nd complaint dated 26.02.2016 to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondents. On a conspectus of the facts obtaining in this case, this Court is of the view that this is not a fit case to issue direction to the respondents to register a case on the complaint dated 26.02.2016. If the said Perumal continues to cause harassment to the petitioner, it is open to the police to take steps to cancel his bail in Crime No.572 of 2015, if the same has been granted.

With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
