ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.840 of 2014 dated 29.05.2014 within the stipulated time fixed by this Court. 1/4

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the 2nd respondent has registered a case in Crime No.840 of 2014 on 29.05.2014, no final report has been filed till date. Hence, the present petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, 2nd respondent has registered the FIR in Crime No.840 of 2014, in which the investigation is under progress. Hence, he seeks two months time to file a final report before the Jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

4. Recording the same, the 2nd respondent police is directed to file final report before the Jurisdictional Magistrate Court concerned, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
