This writ petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Certiorarified mandamus to call for the records in Na.Ka.No.16064/2016/PC1 dated 07.02.2017 on the file of the third respondent and quash the same and consequently to direct the respondents herein to declare "Ayapakkam Village Panchayat" as "Panchayat allotted for Scheduled Caste candidates" for the ensuing Panchayat Elections to be held on 2017.

2. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

3. Election has been conducted and results have been declared and

3 W.P.No.4738 of 2017 those elected have taken office. At this stage, such a direction cannot be granted. But however, if the petitioner is contesting in the next election and if he is also of the view that a similar direction is required he may make a fresh representation to the respondents.
