Prayer:- Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Habeas Corpus to call for the entire records leading to the detention of the Petitioner's brother Deepan, Son of Ravi, Male, aged about 36 years, who is presently lodged in Central Prison, Puzhal at Chennai and has been detained under Act 14/82 as a Goonda vide detention order dated 04.07.2025, made in Memo.No.452/BCDFGISSSV/2025 by the Commissioner of Police, Greater Chennai the 2nd respondent herein and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents herein to produce the body and person of the said detenu before this Honble Court and thereafter set him at liberty. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, by producing a copy of the Government Order in G.O.Rt.No.5185, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIII) Department, dated 19.08.2025, submitted that the detention order has already been revoked.

2. Recording the said submissions, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
