ORDER

The petitioner, alleging that he has been falsely implicated by the respondent for the alleged offences punishable under Section 3(1)(x) of the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 read with Sections 294(b) and 506(i) I.P.C., seeks a direction to the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai (Special Court constituted under Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribes Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, Chennai, to consider and dispose of his bail application that will be filed by him under Section 439 of Cr.P.C. on the same day of his surrender before him in connection with Crime No.235 of 2015 on the file of the respondent.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Considering the nature of the prayer sought for and taking note of the fact that the petitioner is prepared to surrender before the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai (Special Court constituted under Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribes Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, Chennai, there shall be a direction to the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai (Special Court constituted under Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribes Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, Chennai, to consider the bail application to be submitted by the petitioner along with his surrender before him on the same day on merits and pass appropriate orders. The criminal original petition is ordered accordingly.
