... Respondents Prayer:- Contempt Petition is filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to punish the Respondents for contempt of the order of this Court passed in W.P. No. 14878 of 2017 dated 8.02.2022. For Petitioner :

O R D E R

The grievance ventilated by the Petitioner in this Contempt Petition is that despite the specific direction of this Court in the order dated 18.02.2022 in W.P. No. 14878 of 2017 that the instructions in G.O. Ms. No. 286, Finance (Pension) Department dated 28.08.2018 issued by the Government of Tamil Nadu would have to be followed while passing fresh orders, the Respondents have not carried out the same while passing Order in Na. Ka. No. 236/E/2017 dated 03.08.2022. When it was pointed out that the Petitioner could challenge the said order in a Writ Petition raising the said contention, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner states that the Contempt Petition is not pressed reserving the rights of the Petitioner to resort to the aforesaid course of action. She has also made an endorsement to that effect in the court record. 2.

In fine, the Contempt Petition is closed with the aforesaid clarifications. No costs.
