This Writ Petition has been filed praying for a Mandamus directing the first respondent herein to consider the application filed by the petitioner, vide No.A51600731 for the 5 year B.A., L.L.B. Degree Course under SC/ST category for the academic year 2016-17 on the ground that he is a Scheduled Tribe and he has not been called for interview since he is age barred.

2. According to the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent, as per the prospectus, the candidate should have been born on or after 01.06.1996 for applying for admission but the date of birth of the petitioner is 31.12.1991 and even otherwise, the cut off mark for admission is 57.60 wheres the petitioner has got only 41.5 and therefore, on both the grounds, his application has been rightly rejected by the respondents.

3. In view of the above, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
