issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 4 to transfer the accrued amount of the petitioner in CPS Account Number No.929398 to the GPF account of the petitioner and to settle other retirement benefits of GPF, Gratuity and regular Pension with arrears forthwith and to pay the 24% interest from the date of petitioner's retirement to the petitioner for the abnormal delay caused by the fourth respondent.

Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1, 2 and 4. Mr.D.Gopalan, learned counsel takes notice on behalf of the third respondent. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2.The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 4 to transfer the accrued amount of the petitioner in CPS Account Number No.929398 to the GPF account of the petitioner and to settle other retirement benefits of GPF, Gratuity and regular Pension with arrears forthwith 2/5
and to pay the 24% interest from the date of petitioner's retirement to the petitioner for the abnormal delay caused by the fourth respondent. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was already brought under the old pension scheme. In this connection, the petitioner sent representation to transfer the CPS Fund to the GPF account. The learned counsel would further submit that requesting the fourth respondent to transfer the CPS fund to GPF account, the third respondent has sent proposal to the fourth respondent nil dated under reference no.Na.Ka.No.22/2024/A1 and inspite of such proposal, the fourth respondent has not taken any action.
4.At this juncture, the learned Additional Government Pleader would submit that the respondents would consider the petitioner's representation, according to its own merits and in accordance with law, within a reasonable time.
5.In such view of the submission, without going into the merits of the writ petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the fourth respondent to consider the proposal sent by the third respondent 3/5
under the above reference, upon its own merits and in accordance with law and pass orders, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
