PRAYER: Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of Contempt of Court Act, to punish the respondents herein for their willful disobedience of the orders of this Court passed in W.P.No.26204 of 2016 dated 10.02.2022.

ORDER
The present Contempt Petition was filed praying to punish the respondents for willfully disobeying the order of this Court dated 10.02.2022 passed in W.P.No26204 of 2016.
2. After the Contempt Petition was filed, all the petitioners herein have entered into a memorandum of settlement under Section 18(1) of the Industrial Disputes Act, dated 13.02.2024, touching upon the order passed in W.P.No.26204 of 2016, dated 10.02.2022, with regard to the grant of permanent status and for the service and monetary benefits, including continuity of service.

3. In view of the settlement entered into by the petitioners with the management, no further orders are required to be passed in the present Contempt Petition and the disobedience alleged against the respondents also cannot be termed to be willful in nature.
4. Recording the terms of the memorandum of settlement dated 13.02.2024, the Contempt Petition stands closed.
5. At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that though the parties have entered into a settlement, they are yet to receive the benefits.
6. In case the alleged amounts have not been disbursed to the petitioners, as per the terms of the settlement, within a reasonable time, liberty is hereby granted to the petitioners to re-open the Contempt Petition.
